According to function, T cells can be divided into the following categories:

● CD4⁺ T cell: CD4⁺ T cells secreting various cytokines to participate in immune function, is an important defense line for the body's antiviral and anti-tumor immunity.

● CD8⁺ T cell: CD8⁺ T cells secrete perforin, granzyme and other substances to directly kill cells, and induce apoptosis of target cells through Fas FasL pathway or TNF TNFR pathway.
