Regulation of Apoptosis

Apoptosis is also known as programmed cell death. It is an ordered natural or physiological process of cell death that occurs under the control of a series of endogenous genes to maintain the internal environment. Apoptosis is a death process that the body actively seeks for in order to better adapt to the living environment. It involves the activation, expression and regulation of a series of genes.
