The level of MDA was significantly lower (P<0.001) in NPCoQ10 groups and even lower in N-NPCoQ10 group.
Z Liu et al found that the usage of N-NPCoQ10 nano-particle can help for transforming the antioxidants which could ameliorate the renal I-R injury in mice. Malondialdehyde (MDA) of rat serum was determined using MDA colorimetric assay kit (E-BC-K025-M).
It is recommended to take 2~3 samples with expected large difference to do pre-experiment before formal experiment and dilute the sample according to the result of the formal experiment and the detection range (2.92-40 μmol/L).
The recommended dilution factor for different samples is as follows (for reference only):

Asked: Hi, may I know what\'s the difference between this TBA Method MDA Colorimetric Assay Kit and the Cell Samples MDA Colorimetric Assay Kit? Can I use this TBA Method MDA assay kit to measure MDA in cell lysate?

Answered: Hello, are you inquiring about E-BC-K025-M kit and E-BC-K028-M kit? The reagent composition, sensitivity, sample preparation and operating steps of the two kits are different. E-BC-K025-M kit can not be used for the detection of cell samples, suitable for the detection of serum (plasma), tissue samples. E-BC-K028-M kit is specifically used for the detection of cell samples. It is recommended that you select the corresponding item number according to the sample type.

Asked: For rat brain samples, should we prepare control tube? Or should control tubes be prepared only for hemolyzed or lipidemia serum samples? Also should control tubes be prepared for all samples? If so, can we study only 40 samples with one assay kit?

Answered: The E-BC-K025-M kit is set for control only for serum or plasma samples, that is, if there is hemolysis or lipemia, in order to exclude the interference of the sample itself, each sample needs to do a sample tube and a control. If you are detecting tissue samples, you do not need to set up the control. The kit of 96T specification can detect 80 samples if the samples are not repeated.
