Introduction:
The 10× EDTA Antigen Retrieval Solution (pH 9.0) for IHC is designed for use during the heat induced epitope retrieval (HIER) step prior to immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. The buffer is used to combine with heat (often by microwave, water bath, or pressure cooker) has been shown to restore the antigenicity of proteins modified during the formalin fixation of tissue. This buffer is supplied as a 10× stock solution. Dilution of this buffer to 1× working solution results in a 10 mM Tris, 1 mM EDTA solution, pH 9.0.
Instructions:
The 10× EDTA Buffer is a 10× concentrated solution. Dilute with deionized water to 1 × working solution before use.
For example: Take 1 mL 10× EDTA Buffer, dilute with deionized water to 10 mL.

Application Reported:
IHC Antigen Retrieval Solution--10× EDTA Antigen Retrieval Solution (pH 9.0) for IHC has been reported for IHC staining on
Formalin-Fixed Paraffin Embedded Tissue slices.
Experimental Procedure
1.For
paraffin sections:
a)
Slice dewaxing and hydration, then rinse with distilled water for 5 min each
time,2 times.
b)
Antigen Retrieval: immerse the sections into 1× EDTA Antigen Retrieval working
solution, heat the solution at 95 ~ 100 ° C for about 15 min (the antigen
retrieva time can be controlled within 10 ~20
min, and the best tantigen retrieva time needs to be explored according to
different samples and target proteins). 1× EDTA Antigen Retrieval working solution
shall be preheated to 95 ~ 100 ° C before use. If the microwave oven is used in
this step, please pay attention to avoid boiling and excessive water
evaporation. Cool the solution to room temperature within 20 ~30 min. Wash the slices with PBS or 3 times,
and then stain the slices according to the immunohistochemical staining method.
2.For
antigen retrieval of other samples, please refer to the steps of paraffin
section.
Storage:
Store at room temperature for 12 months,Avoid freezing.

product couldn’t be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food or medicine,
and can’t be stored in residence.
